On September 14th, the “SHAPE THE WORLD | Digital Transformation In The AEC Industry” event was co-organized by the Nemetschek Group from Germany in collaboration with GSI Company and CIC Technology and Consulting Joint Stock Company under the Ministry of Construction. The event was a successful gathering, attracting more than 100 guests from construction companies and businesses in Ho Chi Minh City and nearby provinces. It was also one of the prominent construction events in 2023, featuring the participation of global experts from leading software technology companies such as ALLPLAN, Bluebeam, Graphisoft, and others.
Witnessing the remarkable development of technology and its significant impact on the construction industry in recent years, the event “WORLD INNOVATION | Digital Transformation in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Industry” revolved around powerful tools designed to optimize performance for every construction project. It provided the latest knowledge on comprehensive software solutions aimed at streamlining the design, construction, and project management processes.
The event featured seven informative topics, divided into two parts. The first part revolved around Workflow for Civil Projects, focusing on clarifying the roles of software such as Archicad, Allplan, Bluebeam, and Solibri from the design to build process. Meanwhile, the second part discussed Workflow for Infrastructure Projects, including Allplan Bridge, DC-Software, and Twinmotion.
According to Mr. Sascha Avermiddig, General Manager at GSI, “The event is organized with the aim of providing our guests with the most efficient and effective workflows, harnessing the development of breakthrough technology solutions to elevate construction projects in Vietnam and the international market.”
In addition to the in-depth topics on construction software, the event also created a space for experts to exchange ideas on future trends in the construction industry, such as “How will BIM & AI shape the AEC industry?” The sharing session was led by Mr. Luong Thanh Hung, Deputy General Director of CIC Company, with the participation of international speakers.
Finally, the guests participated in a game with a series of questions about software knowledge for a chance to win the prize, an iPad Mini 6, provided by the organizers.
Present at the event, Mr. Minh Nhut, BIM and Business Development Manager at The BIM Factory, stated, “The content shared at the event was extremely valuable and can be applied to improve our company’s real-world projects. The BIM Factory currently uses several software solutions from Nemetschek, such as Allplan and Bluebeam, and in the future, we plan to explore Solibri for quality management and BIM model coordination. I hope that GSI will continue to organize high-quality events like this, providing me with more opportunities for learning and networking with colleagues in the field.”
In addition to the sharing from the attendees, Mr. Detlef Schneider, Director of ALLPLAN, also spoke at the event about Nemetschek Group’s vision: “Nemetschek continually strives to provide the smartest software solutions for the construction industry. We aim to contribute to ‘world innovation’ by assisting engineers and architects in creating outstanding and sustainable structures through our software.”
The event concluded with lots of positive feedback from customers. GSI, CIC, and Nemetschek Group have promised to bring more special programs for experts in the fields of Architecture, Engineering, and Construction, with the aim of further developing and sustaining the industry.
